天空到底是什么颜色的？绝大部分人都会回答蓝色吧，摄影师Eric Cahan镜头下的天空却如彩虹一般绚烂。美国摄影师Eric Cahan的天空系列作品以浓烈色彩为基调，表现出一种美丽微妙的转变让人有些感动。他深受Mark Rothko, James Turrell 与光与空间运动（Light and Space movement 是一个六十年代在南加州兴起的推倡简约主义，关注光，空间，范围和容量感知氛围的艺术运动）的影响。 这个天空系列的作品还在进行中，照片是由Cahan在不同地点拍摄的日出和日落，为了达到不同的色彩效果，他使用了四种不同的相机拍摄，从6X7菲林机到数码相机，也加设了很多供拍电影使用的滤镜。Cahan原本想利用天空的颜色来制造一个既有空间感又能让人感到时间流转的天窗，让颜色向抽象的方向流动而模拟一种记忆的感觉。 这个系列的最终成品是一系列铬印照片，为了达到没不带任何印刷痕迹，条带或污点的无暇效果，Cohan花了很长多次印刷每张照片。除了精湛的技术之外，这些图像唤起了人们对的唯美自然的存在感及敬畏。
